New Announcements
It is VERY muddy out on the playground so for now, the Kindergarten teachers have agreed that the children will stay off the grassy mud and only play on the hot top and wood chip areas.
Please send in a large plastic grocery bag for your child's outer wear. It will stay contained and will not get wet on the floor. Thanks!
Winter recess rules:
1. We go out whenever the weather allows- temps. above
20 F.
2. Children dressed in boots, snow pants, coats, mittens and hats can play anywhere on the playground and can build in the snow! No snow pants--can walk in the snow but not sit and build. No boots--must stay on the hot top.
3. No snowballs can be formed and thrown.
4. No snow, white or otherwise, may be eaten.
5. The snow belongs to all the children at Eveleth and will be shared in a respectful manner.
We have created new K3 and K4 lists for the 2nd term. The new lists are on our Weekly Schedule page!
Parents must have a CORI on file in the school office in order to volunteer for ANY class activity, including class parties. If you are not currently CORI'd through the schools, you must fill out a form and bring it to the Eveleth office with your driver's license. We will have CORI forms available at Open House.
First Day Housekeeping!!!

2.The school lunch menu is on the Marblehead Schools website: www.marbleheadschools.org . We will try to get a direct link set up from weebly. The choices everyday include a hot lunch, cold lunch, bagel, peanut butter and jelly or salad. Milk can be purchased separately but comes with the lunch. Buying a lunch ticket for 10 lunches @ $27.50 by cash or check payable to 'Marblehead Public Schools' is best. A reminder is sent home when the ticket runs out. You can also just send in cash for lunch/milk that day. ANYTIME YOU SEND MONEY TO SCHOOL PLEASE PUT IT IN AN ENVELOPE OR ZIPLOC WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME ON IT. Thanks.
3. Please feel free to send you child to school with a water bottle to drink from thoughout the day (also name on, please), especially in the warm and muggy weather. When it is sunny (soon we hope) put a layer of sunscreen on...we go out everyday that the weather cooperates!(soon we hope!) Also, you might want to keep a sweater or sweatshirt in school for you child.
