This is me, Mrs. Perroni at one of my favorite places, The Marginal Way in Ogunquit, Maine. I love to be outside especially by the sea. I live off of Lynn Shore Drive and you might see me walking, biking or running along the beach as I try to get there almost every single day. I have three grown up children, Melissa, Mike and Shawna and I love to spend time with them. Shawna is married to Joe and they make me do all kinds of crazy things like climb mountains! My favorite food in the whole entire world is CHOCOLATE!!! Especially dark:) I have a piece everyday with my coffee. Oh, and I DO love coffee. My other favorite foods are pizza and ice cream. I think I am STILL a kindergartener at heart! When I am not out in nature, I love to paint, write and read. I love yoga and will be teaching you some of what I know. It is so relaxing. Getting together with family and friends and going out to dinner or just hanging around is always happy. I simply cannot wait to see you all again on the first day of school. It is going to be just great!!
Hi. I am Mrs. Shapiro. I have always wanted to be a teacher and I feel so lucky to be able to have a job that I love to come to every day! Each year is fresh and exciting because I get to know and work with a new group of boys and girls who have different personalities, interests and learning styles. I taught 1st grade at the Glover School for 24 years and now I have the wonderful opportunity to team teach Kindergarten with Mrs. Perroni. My husband, Mark, and I both grew up in Marblehead but raised our family in Swampscott. Emily is married to Adam, and Brian married Jill in December. Our first grandchild Archie Edmund Packer was born on November 30, 2012! We adopted a black Lab named Peanut. She makes us laugh every day! I love to spend time with my family, read, take classes at the gym, walk with friends, and ride my scooter. I cannot wait to start the school year!
This is me, Mrs. Carroll, at one of my favorite places, Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.
After working as a secretary for 14 years in the Marblehead school system, I am very excited to be a Kindergarten Aide for the Double K class. I have loved working with children of all ages, all my life! From babysitting and camp counseling (I taught tennis, swimming and drama), to teaching 7th and 9th grade science before I lived in Marblehead and then raising my son, Scott and daughter, Jenny while I worked at Bell School, Middle School, Glover and Eveleth - I think I know almost every child in Marblehead! I also loved working for the Boston Celtics during the "Larry Bird era"! I will always be a big sports fan! I like to watch football, basketball and baseball. My favorite sports to play are tennis, ping pong and golf. I'd like to learn ballroom and country line dancing, too. Most of all I enjoy helping children learn and grow and I learn and grow myself, by their side, every day!!

Hello, I'm Ms. Devin! After working in an East Boston elementary school for the
past 7 years, I have decided to change it up and take on the challenge here in
Marblehead as a paraprofessional in a kindergarten classroom with 36 children.
While here, I plan on learning and soaking up as much knowledge as I can from
both the students and my coworkers because one day soon I will become a teacher.
I have my teacher’s license in Early Childhood Education and I’m working on my
graduate program. I have 2 kids named Dexter and Kitty…Oh did I say kids; I
meant cats ;) I have an ATV and enjoy taking it to Maine
and NH. This will be the first winter I will get to take it out and I am really
looking forward to it. Something else that I am super excited about is… I will
be getting married on July 4th!! Jeff and I, along with 10 family
members will be sailing the British Virgin Islands and then arriving on the
4th at St. John where we will marry and then watch some FIREWORKS! I
just can’t wait. I hope all of the stress of finding a dress will be worth it
in the end.
